Robert Menzies Institute Conference

The first conference of the newly-established Robert Menzies Institute will be held on 18th November 2021 in the Old Quad at the University of Melbourne. The Conference theme will be “The Early Years: Success, Failure, Resilience” and focus on Sir Robert’s life and legacy between 1894-1943, commencing with Sir Robert’s contribution to the law, education, Australia’s response to the Second World War, and the Forgotten People broadcasts.

Speakers at the conference include The Hon Justice James Edelman, The Hon David Kemp AC, leading commentators, and notable academics.

The conference will coincide with the official opening of the Institute’s premises and permanent exhibition in the East Wing of the Old Quad.
