In the Old Quad at the University of Melbourne, The Robert Menzies Institute showcases a selection of the personal book collection of Robert Menzies and explores key themes which underpinned his legacy. The museum is open Monday – Thursday, 10am – 2pm. Members of the public are most welcome to visit and receive a free tour from one of our staff.

Our Latest Exhibit

The Latest exhibit opened on the 30th of September. It features new items on display such as Parliamentary Debates from 1946, inspiring Biographies of key Liberal Party members Dame Enid Lyons and Sir Thomas Playford, and a 1944 South Australian newspaper reporting on the day the Liberal Party was first constituted.
