Robert Menzies visited the Netherlands following the Commonwealth Premiers’ Conference in London. He visited Holland to discuss the issue of Netherlands New Guinea (West Papua) with Dutch officials. Menzies was invited to meet Queen Juliana in her official residence, Soestdijk Palace.
