I could not obtain a new copy of Rats Lice and History so I am giving you mine with my best wishes for Christmas and the New Year. I shall replace it later. [indecipherable] its slightly dilapidated appreance! You could be intrigued by chapter 11 if by no other part of the book. Zinsser died recently. He looks [indecipherable]. I hope all goes well for you in Swan. The figures [?] this morning seem to swell & wear anything. Do have as much rest as you can get at Christmas. You are the only [indecipherable].
