Lawrence Arthur Adamson was a barrister and headmaster. Born on the Isle of Man in 1860, he came to Australia in the mid-1880s. In 1902 he became headmaster of Wesley College in Melbourne, holding the post until his death in 1932. Robert Menzies attended Wesley College during Adamson’s time as headmaster.
