Overview:
The Robert Menzies Institute is seeking a passionate and dedicated volunteer Museum Attendant to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the everyday operations of our museum and enhancing our engagement with visitors.
Responsibilities include:
- Guiding visitors around the Collection.
- Opening and closing the museum.
- Managing purchases from our bookstore.
- Able to commit to a 4-hour shift once a week from 10am – 2pm.
Qualifications and Skills:
- An interest in Australian political history.
- A student currently working towards a qualification, looking to gain experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, teachers, and stakeholders.
- Good time management.
