Education Project Officer

Overview:
The Robert Menzies Institute is seeking a passionate and dedicated Casual Education Project Officer to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the Education Manager in delivering educational programs aimed at schools, enhancing our engagement with students, teachers, and the broader community. The Education Project Officer will play a crucial role in advancing our mission to promote the legacy of Robert Menzies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate workshops, seminars, exhibits, and educational events both on-site and off-site.
  • Organize and facilitate school visits, tours, and outreach activities to promote awareness of the Institute’s initiatives.
  • Support the Education Manager in maintaining relationships with partner schools, ensuring effective communication and support.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and collect feedback to continuously improve educational offerings.
  • Assist in the promotion and marketing of school programs through various channels.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • An interest in Australian political history
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Arts, Humanities, or related field.
  • Proven experience in educational program coordination, preferably in a school or educational institution.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum development and educational best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, teachers, and stakeholders.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to innovate and develop new educational initiatives.
